A man of many talents, Dr. Richard Wacksman holds both a medical degree from American University of the Caribbean and an MBA from Minnesota State University Moorhead in Minnesota. Dr. Wacksman completed his four-year residency in pediatrics and internal medicine at the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center and Kings County Hospital Center. In addition, Dr. Richard Wacksman finished a two-year fellowship in critical care medicine at the Albany Medical Center.
A devoted medical educator, Dr. Richard Wacksman also taught at the University of North Dakota, where he received an Outstanding Instructor Award and a Clinical Professor of the Year Award from the University’s School of Medicine and Health Sciences. A Fundamental Critical Care Support Instructor, Dr. Richard Wacksman also earned his certificate as an American Heart Association ACLS Provider/Instructor.
